Field Trip to Mt. Sugarloaf
Use the zoom, eye, and hand tools on Google maps to navigate. Zoom in and orient to the south to see our view from Mt. Sugarloaf. Zoom back out a bit and you can follow the Connecticut River to the ocean!

The Water Cycle
Third graders are learning about the water cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection. There are many educational videos online that demonstrate this cycle.

New Units of Study and Flowering Plants


In third grade we have launched five new units of study: Multiplication and Division in Math, Traditional Stories in Language Arts, and North American Geography: Mexico in Social Studies. In Science we are measuring, graphing, and observing plant growth. Our fast growing Brassica seeds started flowering 3 weeks after planting!
